Association of Corporate Counsel Names IntraLinks Exclusive
Workspace Provider for its Alliance Program
New York
October 29, 2007
The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) today
announced that it has selected IntraLinks® as the exclusive provider of online
workspaces for secure document exchange for its Alliance Program.
Through its On-Demand Workspaces™, IntraLinks offers corporate
legal departments a better way to manage the exchange and storage
of their company’s most confidential and sensitive information.
ACC’s Alliance Program forms working partnerships with leading
legal and business organizations to ensure that its members have
access to high-quality products and services. The association selected
IntraLinks based on its demonstrated ability to help ACC members
manage their workflow and enhance security by providing an accessible
and compelling alternative to email, fax and overnight document
delivery. ACC’s Alliance Program provides access to these
professional products and services at special rates.
“ We are continually developing new and useful resources for
our members, and safeguarding security is of great importance to
us,” said ACC President Frederick J. Krebs. “IntraLinks
enables our members to securely share documents, in turn expediting
communication and keeping confidential information in the appropriate
hands.”
“Our solution is ideal for in-house counsel because of the
flexibility of the software-as-service model. Because it is web-based,
in-house teams can deploy it quickly and easily without IT resources,
and we provide ongoing customer support,” said Frank Brunetti,
Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at IntraLinks. “Having
important documents posted in an IntraLinks online workspace not
only helps in-house counsel manage day-to-day needs, but can also
be of critical importance should they need to react to a developing
situation.”
Currently, ACC’s Alliance Program includes
11 other companies including LexisNexis, Thomson-West and Chubb
Specialty Insurance.
