IntraLinks Names J. Andrew Damico Chief Executive
Officer
New York
February 26, 2008
The board of directors for IntraLinks®, the
leading provider of online workspaces for secure document exchange,
has named J.
Andrew Damico chief executive officer.
A seven-year IntraLinks veteran,
Mr. Damico previously served as chief operating officer and executive
vice president of sales and
marketing for the company. For the past six months, he had been
serving as acting CEO.
Mr. Damico succeeds former president and
CEO Patrick Wack, who became chairman of the board for IntraLinks
in fall 2007. Mr. Wack
had served as president and CEO since 2002.
“IntraLinks is at a critical juncture in its development,
and Andrew is the right leader to take the company forward,” said
Mr. Wack. “During the past six months, Andrew has not only
excelled as acting CEO, but has helped make key organizational changes
that will enable IntraLinks to grow aggressively in the years to
come.”
Mr. Damico stated, "I am delighted to have the
opportunity to lead IntraLinks into its next phase of growth.
IntraLinks is
a premier brand within the international banking and financial services
industries. We helped define the online workspace, and have extended
our offering to a whole new set of corporate users. Now the value
that the loan syndication and investment banking communities have
found using the IntraLinks platform is being realized by CFOs, general
counsel, in-house legal and finance departments, compliance officers
and others concerned with secure document exchange and storage.”
“Since we began marketing the IntraLinks offering to a broader
corporate audience," Mr. Damico added, "we have seen rapid
adoption in the energy, life sciences, financial services and real
estate industries. We expect to again set the pace and define the
future of secure, online document exchange for corporate users around
the world.”
During Mr. Damico’s tenure as part of IntraLinks’ management
team, the company’s revenues have grown over 550%, a compound
annual growth rate of more than 30 percent.
Before joining IntraLinks,
Mr. Damico served as senior vice president of RADNET, Inc.,
a provider of shared workspaces to financial services
companies, where he oversaw sales and business development efforts.
Earlier he held various positions at Lotus Development Corporation
and JP Morgan.
