Joshua Ruch is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Rho with more than 40 years of experience in venture capital. His investing philosophy is driven by a perspective that the human factor, common to all investment sectors, is the single most important determinant for successful investment outcomes. He most enjoys interacting with, supporting and mentoring his companies’ management teams.

His philanthropic activities include serving as a trustee of Mount Sinai Hospital Health Systems, Carnegie Hall and the National Humanities Center, and he is a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion and the Steering Committee of the Jacobs Institute.

He received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
